Meigao announces Venus Series UM560 Mini PC

Recently, Meigao launched the new Venus series UM560, equipped with AMD Ryzen R5-5625U mobile APU, pre-installed with the latest Windows 11 desktop operating system.
The overall dimensions (length, width and height) of UM560 are 12.8×12.66×4.65 cm, and it supports 64GB DDR4 dual-channel memory, one M.2 2280 solid-state drive and one 2.5-inch SATA hard drive. In a compact form factor, the UM560 can be used as a micro server, retro game console, office workstation or home theater computer (HTPC).
One of the USB-C ports on the back of the computer supports ALT mode. Alt-Mode allows USB-C ports to transfer data/video over multiple interfaces, including the increasingly popular DisplayPort video interface. If the monitor supports USB PD (USB Power Delivery), the user can use this port to power the computer while transmitting the video signal to the monitor, making the whole setup cleaner.
In terms of processor, AMD Ryzen R5-5625U is manufactured by TSMC 7nm process, TDP power consumption is only 15W, built-in 6 cores/12 threads, 16MB L3 cache, base frequency 2.3GHz, acceleration frequency 4.3GHz. Integrated Radeon RX Vega7 core display, with 7 CU computing units, a total of 448 stream processors, and a frequency of 1800MHz.
In terms of interfaces, the new UM560 has one front 3.5mm headphone and one microphone interface, one Type-C interface with a 10Gbps rate, and a full-featured USB-C. The rear interface provides a USb-C interface supporting 4K/60Hz, 2.5 GbE Ethernet, 2×USB 3.2 (Gen 2), two HDMI interfaces supporting 4K@60Hz and two USB 2.0. In addition, the host also supports M.2 2230 Bluetooth/Wi-Fi wireless network card.
